One of my ideas for identity was religion it has always been something that has defined a person identitiy. It can sometimes become their life, can also sometimes control what theu do and warp their beliefs. so with this thought in my head I was thinking of photographing buddhist what they do and how they live their life.

The images above are by Stuart Isett I could not find much information about him but I do find his photography quite interesting. The images are similar to what I would want to do except I would like to phrtograph them during meditation and other practices they do.
Another idea for the festival was how people change the way they look through peasings, tattoos and make up, I find that these can be a part of someones identity or a way for someone to express them selfs for exampal for thousands of years many cultures have used Henna to decorate the skin, a tradition that remains unchanged to this day, just like henna some groupd use tattos as a simple like gangs or people who want to express them selfs.
The image above is by Cary Wolinsky the photos was used for National Geographic even though I will be photographing tattoos i though that having an exampal of how people use body art.
